A Cash Tray Made from Leftover Leather (2005)

Some time ago, I decided to try making a cash tray like this. I had some leftover leather pieces, and when I stitched them together, I suddenly thought, Wait — this could actually work as a cash tray. So I simply let it take on that new role, and it was reborn as a cash tray.

It is currently being used at the Selfish Motomachi shop in Kobe — or rather, I brought it there and left it for use. If you’d like to see the real thing, please feel free to visit the shop.
