My first trip, long ago, was an intense and unforgettable experience — the kind of journey that becomes a turning point in one’s life. I think everyone, at least once, has wished for a world where all people could live in abundance. And yet, it may be that not everyone born into this world can live a materially rich life. In some way, we all understand this instinctively.
To some, that realization may make the world feel dark and sad. There are times when I feel that way too — and I’m sure you may have felt it as well. But if we shift our perspective and ask, “What about happiness?”, then perhaps we begin to see that many more people can become happier than they are now.
Human beings can find happiness through the way they think. Our thoughts are true freedom, and in that freedom lies the essence of living. That is why I dream that, through this photo book, someone — somewhere — may begin to live “a little more freely, a little more creatively, and a little more joyfully” than before.
And if this book becomes a small turning point, making your “now” just a little happier, and your “tomorrow” a little brighter, there is nothing that would make me happier than that.
So — I wish you a good journey, and gentle dreams along the way.
