After reading a book on permaculture, I began thinking about how to put the idea of companion plants — plants that grow well together — into practice. This “Companion Plant Relationship Map” is a system that lets you view friendly plant pairings at a glance.

I hope it will be useful when planning garden layouts, deciding the placement of vegetables in planting beds, or arranging plants together in pots and container gardens.
