Driftwood Planter for Air Plants

This piece was made from driftwood I picked up on the beach in Kuroshio Town, Kochi — the place where Casa Gracia is located. Since I felt I had to make good use of that driftwood, the creation began with a purpose already in mind. In the end, I decided to turn it into a planter for air plants.

It’s less of a “pot” in the usual sense and more like a simple holder — the plant is secured in place by tying it gently with wire.
