quarium — Growing Aquatic Plants in a Glass Jar

At a flea market, I found an old medicine bottle called “TOP3000” and bought it cheaply. At first, I thought about planting succulents in it. But when I filled it with water to wash it, the way the glass shimmered with water inside was so beautiful that I decided to turn it into a miniature aquatic tank instead.

Apparently, using bottles as tiny aquariums like this is called a “bottle aquarium.” Just like when I once kept shrimp, the aquatic plants inside are Wabi-kusa (a pre-grown clump of aquatic plants). I’m still thinking about whether or not to add any living creatures — maybe a betta fish would be nice.
