My Leather Book Cover (2006)

As usual, I decided to make a cover for my “My Book.” The leather I used is a soft black cowhide — although a friend insists it looks green, which I still don’t quite understand. I added an elastic band so the cover can hold extra pages or items inside, similar to a Moleskine notebook.

The elastic is actually white underwear elastic that I colored black with a marker. Looking back now, I probably should have just bought proper black elastic from the beginning.
