Leather Notebook Cover Made Without Stitching

This notebook cover was made entirely with glue, without any stitching at all. I used to assume that anything not stitched would be weak and unreliable — but to my surprise, it turned out to be quite sturdy. The exterior is black bison leather, while the inside is a yellow-toned oil leather.
What I really want in a notebook is something that feels closer to an actual notebook pad — where the edge of the paper (the refill) sits flush with the edge of the leather cover. But I found that this kind of design is surprisingly hard to buy, so in the end, I had no choice but to make it myself.
