Simple, Small Tote Bag — “No-Hem Canvas Style (No.4 Canvas)”

Lately I’ve had a bit of a craving for a new bag. A friend of mine owns a shoulder-tote by the brand Earth Made, and it left a strong impression on me — a wide opening that makes it easy to pack, a zipper for security, shoulder straps that extend from the bottom of the bag, a perfect size, and a fabric that isn’t too stiff or too soft, with a beautiful color tone. Still, I never quite made the decision to buy one.

So instead, I decided to modify a deep tote bag I had made long ago using green canvas I received from Baggy Port. With a camera, tripod (which sticks out a little…), and a few small items inside, it gets pretty full — but I’ve grown quite fond of it lately. I think I’ll keep using it for a while and see how it feels.

(Materials: roughly No.4 or No.6 canvas fabric, handles made from kip leather.)
