About the Name “Nakahara Store”

At first, I considered a lot of different names, but in the end I chose something simple.

This building was originally constructed by a company called “Nakahara Rubber” many years ago. I imagine that when it was built—probably more than fifty years ago—it must have been filled with all kinds of hopes and intentions. Even though the times have changed and the property has since changed hands, I still want to honor those feelings and the history behind the name.

Since it already had such a good name, I decided to carry it forward as it is, borrowing directly from “Nakahara Mansion” and calling this place “Nakahara Store.”

If I may say so myself, I’m really pleased with how charming it turned out.
