Frosted Glass for a Tiny Bathroom Window (2022)

Before even asking whether that little window in the bathroom — the one that lets you check if someone is inside — is really necessary, I found myself thinking, “Wouldn’t it be nicer if the frosted glass were cuter?” Materials come in countless forms, each with its own character and proper place. Without overthinking it, I tried making a panel by sealing a holographic texture inside resin, just to see if it might feel right. And when I looked at the finished piece — of course, it was cute.

We are living in an age where anyone can do things.
And yet, we are still in an age where almost no one does.
