Drum Bag — A Canvas and Leather Shoulder Bag (2005)
My older brother had been using a black drum-style shoulder bag for many years, and I always wondered what made that kind of bag so appealing. So I decided to try making one myself.
As it turns out, it really is a convenient bag that I can take anywhere without worrying about it. However, when I carry heavy items, my shoulder starts to hurt, so I felt that it would have been nice if it could also function as a backpack.
Process:
- Cut two round pieces of fabric and decide the length of the body to match them.
- Attach the zipper.
- Make the handles using leather.
- Sew everything together.
